Project description
"Everyone's personal case" is a guide to action for citizens who want to exercise their rights to access documentary evidence of political repression in the USSR and find out information about the fate of their own relatives.
Project outcomes
The project’s website contains the regulations of the Russian Federation on access to archival information with comments by historians and lawyers, stories about various successful and unsuccessful cases of archival searches and, most importantly, detailed recommendations for those who seek information about their relatives and plan to attend an archiving institution or already working there, recommendations that allow you to successfully assert your right to information and understand a variety of archival documents.
