Location
People with learning disabilities often have a difficulty accessing information about topics within memory culture. In general, people with any kind of disability are not granted equal access to places of remembrance and monuments as well as related educational projects. Their specific needs are too often not taken into account.
The goal of Denk.mal Inklusiv:
- to convey Berlin's monument landscape inclusively;
- to question official memory by mapping alternative places of memory inclusively;
- to strengthen participation opportunities in memory culture, especialy for people with disabilities;
- to use new media in memory culture.
