VEHA project has existed in the cultural environment of Belarus since 2017. VEHA compiles thematic collections from family photo archives, catalogues and publishes those in online archives. Based on archive materials, the project organizes exhibitions, conducts research, and publishes books.
While attempting to understand traditions through a critical prism, the project works to return the image of a woman back to history and studies the everyday life of Belarusian villages. VEHA also conducts a course on family history restoration and teaches to create Family Books. Through research and preservation of personal history, the project reconstructs the history of our common past.
