KONTAKTE-KOHTAKTbI e.V. – Association for Contacts with Countries of the Former Soviet Union – focuses on history education projects, citizen’s engagement for victims of National Socialism in the countries of the former USSR. The association also undertakes humanitarian aid projects, e.g. in form of material support for victims of Nazi crimes or supporting medical research and treatment of children with leukemia. KONTAKTE-KOHTAKTbI e.V. realizes its goals through non-profit purposes such as public lectures, symposia, screenings, exhibitions and publishes books. Since 2018 the association has realized three international (with Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) educational projects for students and teachers with main topic “War of extermination against the Soviet Union from the perspective of 'forgotten' victims of National Socialism”.
